A BILL to amend article five, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section forty-one, relating to exemption from state and county user service fees.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article five, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section forty-one, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 5. COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION.

§18-5-41. Exemption from state and county user service fees.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, county boards of education shall be exempt from state and county user service fees, including, but not limited to, the following: Health department, office of the fire marshal, environmental protection agency, asbestos abatement and water testing.


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to exempt county boards of education from state and county user service fees.
